BIO

Blurring the lines between rock’n’roll and message-driven soul, the Amanda Broadway Band blends funky backbeats with bluesy guitar riffs and powerful songwriting. Based in Nashville, TN, the hair-flipping, tambourine-wielding Broadway captivates audiences with her authentic musical voice and soul-shouting enthusiasm. Grounded by a superb rhythm section, compelling background vocalists, and dynamic horn players, the band brings earnest and infectious energy to every performance.

Their debut LP, The Ache, was released on CD, Vinyl, and digital platforms on February 28th, 2020. Recorded over three days at Nashville’s famed analog studio, Welcome To 1979, the record captures the energy of the live band on ten original compositions. “This project is a collaborative and self-produced effort where each member’s voice shines through,” mentions Broadway. The result is music meant for the masses—a stellar and creative endeavor that deserves to be heard on festival stages.

Following the success of their debut albumthe Amanda Broadway Band officially signed to Electric 3 Records, an independent label with roots in Nashville, Memphis, and Los Angeles.

Their first single of 2021, “What The World Needs Now Is Love,” presents a truly fresh and electrifying take on the Burt Bacharach/Hal David classic. Attention grabbing from the start, this rendition brings new meaning and a sense of urgency to the lyrical content while showcasing the band as a creative, captivating, and undeniably funky force.
